Humpty Dumpty is Back on the Wall
/images/Nursery.jpgAt long last, restoration of the Nursery is underway. Research has centered on a circa 1908 photograph of Ellen Douglas sitting on the Nursery floor surrounded by toys and child-sized furniture. The first step in restoring the room was to identify and locate the wall coverings shown in the photograph. Bradbury & Bradbury, a well respected company specializing in reproduction of historic wall coverings, located the original designs in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
